Switch Embraces Dallas Tech Scene at Techweek Dallas – 2016

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Switch will be in Dallas this week, attending Techweek Dallas – 2016 (10/31 – 11/6), as we continue our mission to change the way the global tech ecosystem supports innovation by combining trusting relationships, tight domestic collaboration and nearshore technologists with committed teams in both North and South America.

We are looking forward to the opportunity of connecting with companies who seek world-class technical talent for their growing start-up or enterprise – and, of course, enjoying Texas-style food and live music at the same time.

Techweek is recognized as one of the “Top 13 Conferences For Entrepreneurs To Attend in 2016” by Inc. Magazine.

“Dallas has a rich history of business formation and a vibrant tech ecosystem that we appreciate. With our goal of starting conversations and cultivating relationships in the tech space, we didn’t want to pass this event up,” says Nick Scheifler, Director of North American Operations.

The conference keynote features Reddit Co-Founder and tech investor Alexis Ohanian, who will discuss the early

days of what is now widely-known as “the front page of the internet.” He will also discuss the infinite options of media that exist today, and where that leaves the consumer as well as companies looking to reach them.

The week-long event culminates with the presentation of the winning nominees for the coveted Techweek100. The Techweek100 lists the most distinguished members of the burgeoning tech community in each Techweek city, and is divided into three categories:

Ambassadors — Founders, influencers, and prominent voices who act as positive representatives for the tech community

Innovators — Companies, both established organizations and rising startups, shaping their industries via innovative technology

Cultivators — VCs, incubators, educational institutions, and other organizations that support and enable the tech ecosystem

Techweek also features an Entrepreneur Expo, a Founders House for invite-only C-level networking, and three nights of live music.

With Dallas being relatively close to Austin, it’s a convenient event for us to attend – and Techweek is known to put on events that provide the type of networking opportunities we seek towards the end of the year at Switch.

Our Co-Founder as a Service (CFaaS) model is a CTO-like service that provides comprehensive UI/UX design and full stack development in order to better support innovators without a technical background.

Our Micro Development Center offering gives SME’s or non-technical Co-Founder’s the deep expertise necessary in each different aspect of developing technology, while still undercutting the cost of a single full-stack developer. We provide this experience measured out by the hour based on your needs, supported by in-house UI/UX work and QA.

If you happen to be in Dallas this week, we would be happy to meet and connect. If you aren’t in Dallas but align with our mission — feel free to reach out to our Director of North America, Nick Scheifler at Nick@switchsoftware.us
